Registration is OPEN for the 2026 WINTER Kingwood Under the Lights flag football season. The WINTER season runs from JANUARY through MARCH, with games taking place on FRIDAY NIGHTS at the following location:

Under the Lights is the UNRIVALED provider of competitive youth flag football Powered by UNDER ARMOUR. The league is for both boys and girls from grades Kindergarten to 8th grade in Humble ISD. Under the Lights is for players of all skill levels and promotes a competitive, confidence building, non-contact football experience.

WINTER 2026 Registration Deadlines:

$125 - 3RD-5TH AND 6TH-8TH ALL GIRLS LEAGUE

$125 - 9TH-10TH AND 11TH-12TH HIGH SCHOOL ALL GIRLS LEAGUE

$165 - Early Bird Registration Fee – ENDS SEPTEMBER 30TH

$175 - Registration Fee - OCTOBER 1ST - NOVEMBER 30TH

$185 - Late Registration Fee - DECEMBER 1ST - JANUARY 16TH 

*Any Registrations after January 1st will be accepted but please know you will not have a uniform for week 1 and no guarantee on Friend Requests as our rosters will already be set! But you CAN still participate!*

WINTER 2026 GAME SCHEDULE: 

GAME TIMES BETWEEN 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM

  • March 6 - CHAMPIONSHIP

LEAGUE FORMAT:

6v6 Flag (Grades as of 2025-2026 School Year and age as of 9/1/2025)

  • PreK-Kindergarten Grade Division
  • 1st-2nd Grade Division
  • 3rd-4th Grade Division
  • 5th-6th Grade Division
  • 7th-8th Grade Division
  • 9th-10th Grade Division (HS DIVISION)
  • 11th-12th Grade Division (HS DIVISION)
GENERAL LEAGUE FORMAT:
  • Player receives a game shirt and shorts
  • Head Coach receives a white youth football
  • 7 weeks season and includes playoffs or consolation games (may include doubleheaders)
  • 6 v 6 format on 25-30 yd wide x 50 yd long fields NO pass rush, just a 4-6 second sack count. Emphasis on the pass game and run game limitations.
  • 9-10 player rosters so everyone plays every game!
  • Practices are held a hour before the games
  • NO Tryouts. NO Drafts. Rosters are formed by "friend" or "coach" request. Single players will be placed on teams with some similarity and familiarity such as same school, neighborhood, organization, etc. as the other players on the team. But teams will be balanced.
  • ALL coaches are volunteer parents and NOT provided by Under the Lights
  • Trophies or Medals are awarded to the Champions of the grade/age division
  • Games played in the evenings when possible.
  • Food and music at the games
  • All players are required to have a mouthpiece during game day.
  • Coaches will be responsible for sanitizing their game ball. Each team will use their own game ball while on offense. Staff will sanitize all pylons and down markers after each game. Coaches should maintain social distancing while on the game field and sideline.
  • Game times will be staggered to minimize the number of people entering and exiting the field at one time.

REFUND POLICY:
We at Under the Lights Flag offer the following refunds within these specific timelines. All refund requests must be submitted by email to your League Commissioner.

  • FULL or 100% registration fee refund if requested before uniforms are ordered for the league which occurs 3 weeks prior to kickoff.
  • HALF or 50% registration fee refund if requested after uniforms are ordered and prior to the 2nd game of the season not 2nd week of the season.
  • NO REFUND request submitted and processed after the 2nd game of the season

COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS:
  • All coaches are volunteers and are not provided by Under the Lights Flag League.
  • All Coaches and Volunteers must provide the Commissioner of your league with a current Coaches certification and background check. Each certificate is valid for 1 calendar year. If you need to update or obtain both please use the following links:
